The Canadian Insolvency Awards are judged by a panel of respected professionals from across the legal, financial, regulatory, and academic sectors. Each judge brings deep expertise and long-standing experience in insolvency and restructuring, with representation from across Canada.
Judging is conducted independently and confidentially, using structured scoring criteria tailored to each award category. Judges are asked to declare any potential conflicts and will recuse themselves from reviewing any submissions where appropriate.
All eligible nominations are passed to our independent judging panel, who carefully review the submissions, select three finalists in each category, and choose the winners. The Outstanding Contribution Awards are determined directly by the judges, recognizing exceptional service and leadership without a set number of recipients.
We are grateful to our panel of distinguished judges for lending their time and expertise to recognize excellence in the Canadian insolvency community.
