Nomination Instructions
Anyone is welcome to submit a nomination—whether self-nominating or recognizing the work of a firm, client, or team. Submissions may relate to matters you were directly involved in or those you believe deserve recognition.

What Happens Next
Submissions will be screened by Insolvency Insider and then reviewed by our independent judging panel, composed of senior professionals from law, lending, advisory, and academia.
Judges will assess entries using structured scoring criteria tailored to each award category.
Nominees may be contacted for additional information or clarification.
Finalists for each category will be announced on January 5, 2026.
Winners will be announced live at the Canadian Insolvency Awards Gala on February 5, 2026
Please note
For the Outstanding Contribution Award, there are no set finalists or fixed number of winners. Instead, judges will recognize individuals whose sustained service and leadership merit special distinction.
To remain eligible, a representative from each finalist (excluding Outstanding Contribution nominees) must be registered to attend the Gala on February 5, 2026.
All nominations will remain confidential and will only be shared with the editorial and judging teams.
